Sep, 2009 Naseej organized the 3rd Youth Workers Regional event
Naseej organized the 3rd Youth Workers Regional event which took place between Friday September 25th, and Monday September 28th at the Marriott – Dead Sea.

The event was held to achieve one of Naseej objectives, which is focusing on strengthening and supporting vocational capacities of youth workers as well as encouraging experience exchange and knowledge among youth activists and representatives in community youth development in the Arab World.  The content of the meeting focused on preparing youth to be ambassadors and trainers that are capable of delivering positive community youth development to their peers in their countries and all the Arab countries.

More than 20 youth participated in this event representing different Arab countries including Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Morocco, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and some of the participants had the privilege of meeting His Majesty King Abdullah II at the previous event that was held in Ajloun reserve in June 2009, were His Majesty encouraged such meetings and ensured the importance of youth role in the community development adding that Jordan will remain the home for all Arabs.

Furthermore, workshops will be held in different Arab countries to disseminate these concepts; such as the workshop that will be held in Mauritania next month funded by Naseej program with the participation of trained youth who will be selected after the Dead Sea event.
